The 3rd session for Rythm Section at CoxScrew

The rehearsal last night, was productive, we managed to at least finish up the whole set list, finally. However, the songs are still very jagged and blousy, but we have time. Technically, we have 22 days left to rehearse, we are practicing with all our might, twice a week, 3 hours session. Songs rehearsed last night:

- spoon (re-structured)
- Shelter Seeking Jammie
- Chanting Bruises (not sure if we are playing this old post-grunge number)
- Carnival (a song we played only once, LaSalle Indecent Xposure gig in 2003)
- Justin (still pondering between 2 different versions for this song)

We started around 7:45pm, the most problematic of all was Chanting Bruises, we wrote this in 1998, a Seattlesque sounding, post teenage angst type of riff, that was like 7 years ago? Suddenly, started to think about how cheesy could the chorus be? "Whispering some rhymes, with a nature of youth" Cheesy or campy, that song was written when we were angry youths ok...

The next rehearsal will be this coming Wednesday night, at Radioactive studios, Peninsular Plaza. More updates to come.
